What began as a project management assignment back in campus days, has materialized into a business with a cause!

Fast forward to today, we’re launching an innovative solution to the home improvement industry.

Who Are We  ?

Sizawena isn’t just a company, it’s the brainchild of two sisters, Ayesha and Raeesa, who grew up surrounded by sawdust and the satisfying whir of a drill.

Our father, a jack-of- all-trades, instilled in us a love for fixing, building, and tackling any home improvement challenge that arose. Witnessing our dad’s dedication and the satisfaction of a job well done, the seeds of Sizawena were sown.

Fast forward a few years, and we both found ourselves navigating the trials of owning our own homes. We soon discovered the struggles of finding reliable and skilled professionals for plumbing mishaps, electrical woes, and those ever-present DIY projects. Our experiences highlighted a gap in the market – a need for a trustworthy and convenient way to connect with skilled home service providers.

Fueled by our childhood lessons and a desire to help others, we decided to bridge that gap. Sizawena was born, named after a Zulu word meaning “Helping You.”
